Awana Commander Needed! The Christian Education Board is looking for a loving, enthusiastic, and organized individual to volunteer to be our Awana Commander. On-the-job training is available. If God is calling you to this position, please contact Rick Meyerink, Mitch Hopewell, Barbie Long or Donna Sachau.
Spearfish Food Pantry Mountain View Baptist Church will be in charge of staffing the Food Pantry the last two weeks of September. The new Food Pantry is now located at 131 Yankee Street on the north side of the Recreation Center. The pantry is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. There will be a signup sheet in the food donation basket or you can contact Nancy Millard at 644-9117 or Jean Trent at 642-4353.
Heirs of Baird are coming to town. A five-piece music group will be performing for Mountain View Baptist Church on September 26th at 6:30pm. An ice cream and pie social is to follow in the Fellowship Hall.

The week of September 12th we are starting three small groups: The Truth Project, The Invisible War, and What in the World is Going On. If you are interested in participating in any of these groups, please contact Donna Sachau at 722-2904 by September 7th.
September 8th at 6:30pm we are having a kick-off BBQ for the youth group at the Sleep’s house! 20017 Mill Creek Road, Spearfish. Sixth graders to high school seniors are welcome.
